Pirate Taxi is thrilled to partner with Bollywood Social Toronto to bring Sundowner attendees to Center Island for the Sundowner party at BBQ & Beer on September 6, 2025!
Special Discounted Fare:
Bollywood Sundowner ticket holders are eligible for a special discounted Pirate Water Taxi fare of $11(+GST) each way (regular price is $13(+GST).
You can pay by cash, debit or credit at the dock when you arrive. Please note, that the special Bollywood water taxi discount price cannot be purchased online but can only be purchased at one of the two Pirate Taxi docks. You must show your Bollywood Sundowner ticket to receive the discounted price.
Book Your Departure Time
Pirate Taxi strongly recommends booking a departure time, so we can be sure to have all the boats we need standing by to take you to Center Island. Priority boarding will be given to those with a reserved departure time.
To book a departure time with Pirate Water Taxi, follow the steps below:
● Choose your departure date from the calendar (this will be September 6)
● Then your departure time
● Click Next, and you will be prompted to enter your contact info, the number of people in your group, and which of our 2 docks you will be coming to
Note, that if the time slot you’ve chosen is at capacity, you will be prompted to choose another departure time (if you have a large group, you can try splitting them among different departure times). If you can’t find a time that works for you or your group, please send an email to events@piratetaxi.ca with the number of passengers in your group, and your preferred departure time, and departure dock, and we will try to get additional boats to accommodate you.
Once you’ve Registered, you will receive a Confirmation email.
If you’re running a little late, don’t worry! We’ll put you on the next boat.
If you would like us to bring you back to the city later in the day, there’s no need to book – just come to the water taxi dock where we will drop you off, whenever you’re ready, and come on board. We’ll take your payment on our dock on the city side.
Pirate Taxi has 2 docks, with ample parking nearby and close to TTC:
235 Queens Quay West, on the boardwalk
Our Harbourfront dock is on the boardwalk, right by the water, just west of York Street. We’re right beside the big, black sailboat called Kajama. By TTC, eastbound and westbound, the stops are right beside the Harbourfront Terminal Building (with Farm Boy on the corner). Walk between the Terminal Building and the Power Plant until you reach the water and turn right and you’ll see us. There is underground parking.
375 Queens Quay West, beside HTO Park West, between Spadina and Rees Street
This dock is between Spadina and Rees Street beside HTO Park West. By TTC, eastbound, the stop is just before Spadina, walk east, past Spadina until you reach HTO Park West. Westbound, the stop is just east of Spadina, walk east and cross at the Shoppers Drug Mart. You’ll see a big, red fire boat across from our docks. There is plenty of parking at Queens Quay and Rees.
Pirate Water Taxi is a great, fun alternative to taking the Toronto Island Ferry – the Ferry runs on a schedule, Pirate Taxi runs continuously so there’s no waiting, and we play great music along the way!
