Dock Managers
The Dock Manager is responsible for leading daily dock operations and setting the standard for performance, professionalism, and customer service. This role leads by example—driving efficiency, energy, and accountability across all dock staff.
The Dock Manager sets the tone from the start of each shift, ensuring the team is prepared, presentable, and ready to operate at a high level.
Your experience leading teams in a fast paced, customer facing environment such as busy
bars/restaurants, retail stores, customer service or similar service operations has given you the ability to be clear and firm in task assignments and direction, with a positive and upbeat attitude – you have that rare ability to earn the staff’s respect and their approval.

* Lead from the front with a strong work ethic, urgency, and positive attitude
* Motivate and direct dock staff to operate efficiently and with enthusiasm
* Maintain accountability for team readiness, performance, and conduct - Operations Management
* Oversee all dock activities to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations
* Coordinate vessel loading and flow to maximize turnaround and minimize delays
* Maintain dock organization, cleanliness, and readiness at all times
* Actively manage customer lines to ensure order, fairness, and efficient boarding - Staff Oversight
* Ensure the team is prepared and positioned for a strong start to each shift
* Assign and adjust roles based on demand and traffic flow
* Provide real-time direction and support during peak periods - Customer Experience & Sales
* Set and uphold a high standard for customer interaction and service
* Engage customers, drive boat fill rates, and support sales efforts
* Collect and process customer payments accurately, honestly, and efficiently
* Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally - Compliance & Standards
* Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
* Lead by example in professionalism, presentation, and consistency
