Ahoy Dominion Day Regatta paddlers!
We’re very happy to offer you the same special program in 2025:
We will be open at 6:00 am on Tuesday for the Regatta (normal opening is 9:00 am).
We’re offering a special discounted fare of $10 +HST (regular $13 +HST) to all boat crews, coaches, umpires, officials and volunteers!
Please note, that you cannot buy tickets at the special $10 discounted price online, using the Purchase Tickets button above. To receive the $10 price, please pay when you arrive at the dock, by cash, debit, or credit.
Family, friends and spectators are very welcome on the taxis but would pay the regular fare of $13 +HST)
Pirate Taxi strongly recommends booking a departure time, so we can be sure to have all the boats we need standing by to take you to Center Island. Priority boarding will be given to those with a reserved departure time.
To book a departure time with Pirate Water Taxi, follow the steps below. Choose your departure date from the calendar, then your departure time. Click Next, and you will be prompted to enter your contact info, the number of people in your group, and which of our 2 docks you will be coming to. Note, that if the time slot you’ve chosen is at capacity, you will be prompted to choose another departure time. Once, you’ve Registered, you will receive a Confirmation email.
Pirate Taxi has 2 docks, with ample parking nearby and close to TTC:
235 Queens Quay West, on the boardwalk
375 Queens Quay West, beside HTO Park West, between Spadina and Rees Street
You can pay by cash, debit or credit card when you arrive at the dock. To receive the discounted fare, you will need to identify yourself as a participant in the Regatta.
Bikes, strollers, wagons and dogs can be brought on board at no extra charge.
If you would like Pirate Taxi to bring you back to the city later, there is no need to book a departure time: just go to the Water Taxi dock at Center Island when you’re ready to head back. The return fare will be the same discounted fare of $10 +HST
