Pirate Taxi is thrilled to partner with SuperPower 5K to bring race participants to Center Island on August 29 , 2026!
Taking Pirate Taxi to Center Island for the SuperPower 5K takes just two simple steps:
1). How would you like to pay?
Race participants, coaches, officials and volunteers can pay a special discount one-way price of $12 +HST per person (regular fare is $15 +HST). Buy your ticket(s) online, in advance by clicking on the Purchase Tickets button on the top right corner, and when prompted, enter Coupon code SUPER26. You will receive both a text and email with a QR code which contains the total number of tickets you purchase – show the QR code at the Pirate Water Taxi dock.
Or, you can pay the special, discounted price when you arrive at our dock, with debit, credit or cash.
Family, friends and spectators are, of course, welcome to come with you, they’ll pay the regular fare of $15 +HST
2). Let us know what time you want to leave and which dock you’ll be coming to.
Pirate Taxi strongly recommends booking a departure time, so we can be sure to have all the boats we need standing by to take you to Center Island. Priority boarding will be given to those with a reserved departure time.
To book a departure time with Pirate Water Taxi, follow the steps below:
- Choose your departure date from the calendar (this will be August 29)
- Then your departure time
- Click Next, and you will be prompted to enter your contact info, the number of people in your group, and which of our 2 docks you will be coming to
Once you’ve Registered, you will receive a Confirmation email.
If you’re running a little late, don’t worry! We’ll put you on the next boat.
If you would like Pirate Taxi to bring you back to the city after the race, there’s no need to schedule a time – just come to the water taxi dock where we dropped you off earlier, whenever you’re ready, and come on board. We’ll take your payment on our dock on the city side (or you can buy your ticket(s) online).
Pirate Taxi has 2 docks, with ample parking nearby and close to TTC:
375 Queens Quay West, beside HTO Park West, between Spadina and Rees Street
Pirate Water Taxi is a great, fun alternative to taking the Toronto Island Ferry – the Ferry runs on a schedule, Pirate Taxi runs continuously so there’s no waiting, and we play great music along the way!
Bikes, (small) wagons, strollers and dogs are all welcome, at no charge. Children 2 years old and younger ride free.
