Pirate Water Taxi is offering a special ticket price for the The Toronto Folk Festival on Ward’s Island on August 21,22 and 23.
Special Toronto Folk Festival Discounted Fare:
Folk Festival attendees and performers with an Eventbrite ticket pay only $13 (+GST) per person, each way – (regular fare is $15+GST).
Bikes, strollers, dogs and (small) wagons are free.
You can pay by cash, debit or credit when you arrive at one of our two Pirate Taxi docks. Please note, that the special Folk Festival discount price cannot be purchased online but can only be purchased at one of the two Pirate Taxi docks. To receive the discounted ticket price, passengers must show their Folk Festival Eventbrite ticket.
235 Queens Quay West, on the boardwalk
The Harbourfront dock is on the boardwalk, right by the water, just west of York Street, right beside the big, black sailboat called Kajama. By TTC, eastbound and westbound, the stops are right beside the Harbourfront Terminal Building (with Farm Boy on the corner). Walk between the Terminal Building and the Power Plant until you reach the water and turn right and you’ll see us. There is underground parking. Our Harbourfront dock is about a 10 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal.
375 Queens Quay West, beside HTO Park West, between Spadina and Rees Street
This dock is between Spadina and Rees Street beside HTO Park West. By TTC, eastbound, the stop is just before Spadina, walk east, past Spadina and cross the street when you reach Shoppers Drug Mart. Westbound, the stop is just east of Spadina, walk east and cross at the Shoppers Drug Mart. You’ll see a big, red fire boat across from our docks. There is plenty of parking at Queens Quay and Rees.
Pirate Water Taxi is a great, fun alternative to taking the Toronto Island Ferry – the Ferry runs on a schedule, Pirate Taxi runs continuously so there’s no waiting, and we play great music along the way!
